Loretta Louise (Gonzales) Ellis, 29, a former Watseka resident, of Park Forrest South, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 1972 at the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Chicago. Mrs. Ellis was born in Evanston, IL, December 29, 1943, daughter of Thomas and Louise Brady Gonzales, Sr. She lived most of her life in Watseka and was a former employee ofthe Uarco. She married James Ellis in Watseka, October 11, 1969. She is survived by her husband of Park Forest South; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gonzales, Jr. of Watseka and by her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Brady of Watseka. Loretta Ellis was a member of St. Paulin us Episcopal Church of Watseka. She was a graduate of the Watseka Community High School and attended Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL. Funeral services set Saturday, March 31, at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Watseka with the Rev. William Laughlin officiating. Burial in the GAR cemetery. Visitation at the Segur Knapp Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
