I don't remember when Mary Lou came to WCHS but I do remember when she came to Saint Edmund's Catholic Church. Mary Lou joined the Study Club and the church choir and saved me from having to sing alto alone  Kay Damler and MaryEllen Truitt from our little choir will remember her fondly.  She was a kind, sweet, and very shy friend.  I also remember she had an unreturnable serve in volleyball.  ;(I don't know where that image came from, but it is very distinct in my memory).  She also had a wicked sense  of humor.  Rest in Peace, friend.
